Getting Started with SlotBase

Welcome to SlotBase -- the sports facility scheduling platform that connects facility owners, coaches, players, and parents in one place. Whether you are managing a tennis club, running cricket coaching sessions, or booking courts for your child, SlotBase has you covered.

Choose Your Role​

SlotBase supports five distinct roles. Select the one that matches how you will use the platform to jump straight into the relevant guide.

Platform Admin​

You manage the entire SlotBase platform. You create facilities, send invitations to facility owners, manage subscriptions, and monitor platform-wide analytics.

Facility Admin (Owner / Admin / Staff)​

You own or operate a sports facility. You set up resources (courts, fields, lanes), configure operating hours, manage bookings and events, oversee coaches, and handle payments.

Coach​

You provide coaching services at one or more facilities. You create coaching blocks (your available lesson times), set pricing, manage students, and run sessions and events.

Player​

You book sessions, register for events, and enroll in programs. You browse available time slots, make reservations, and manage your schedule.

Parent​

You manage your children's sports activities. You add child accounts, book sessions on their behalf, register them for events and programs, and track their schedules.

How SlotBase Works​

At a high level, SlotBase connects these roles together:

  1. Platform Admins create facilities and invite owners to set them up.
  2. Facility Admins configure their facility -- adding resources, setting hours, and publishing the facility to go live.
  3. Coaches affiliate with facilities and create coaching blocks so players can book lessons.
  4. Players join facilities, browse the calendar, and book sessions, events, or programs.
  5. Parents manage their children's accounts and handle bookings and payments on their behalf.
tip

You can hold multiple roles in SlotBase. For example, you might be a Facility Admin at your own club and a Player at another facility.
