Sibling Discounts
SlotBase offers automatic sibling discounts for families with multiple children enrolled in programs at the same facility. These discounts reduce the cost of program enrollments and are applied automatically when invoices are generated.
How Sibling Discounts Work
When a family has more than one child enrolled in programs at a facility, SlotBase applies a percentage discount to the enrollment fees for the second, third, and fourth child. The first child always pays the full price.
Here is how the discount is structured:

When Discounts Are Applied
Sibling discounts are applied at invoice generation time, not at the point of enrollment. This means:
- You enroll your children in programs at the full listed price.
- At the end of the billing period, SlotBase generates the monthly invoice.
- The system detects multiple enrolled children on the same family billing account.
- The appropriate sibling discounts are calculated and applied to the invoice.
- The discounts appear as separate line items on the invoice.
You do not need to request sibling discounts or enter a discount code. The discounts are applied automatically based on your family billing account.
Requirements for Sibling Discounts
For sibling discounts to apply, the following conditions must be met:
- The children must be linked to the same family billing account
- The children must be actively enrolled in programs at the same facility
- The facility must have sibling discounts enabled in their configuration
- The discount rates must be configured by the facility admin
How the Facility Configures Discounts
Facility admins set up sibling discounts in the facility payment or discount settings. The configurable fields are:

Viewing Discounts on Your Invoice
When sibling discounts are applied, you will see them on your invoice:
- Open the invoice from My Invoices in your player dashboard.
- Review the line items -- each child's enrollment charge appears separately.
- Below the subtotal, a Discount line shows the total discount amount.
- The Total reflects the reduced amount after the discount.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do discounts apply to different programs? Yes. If your children are enrolled in different programs at the same facility, the sibling discount still applies because it is based on the number of enrolled children, not the specific program.
What if one child drops out mid-month? Discounts are recalculated at invoice generation time. If a child is no longer enrolled when the invoice is created, the discount tiers adjust accordingly.
Can I get a sibling discount for more than four children? The 4th child discount rate applies to the fourth child and any additional children beyond that.
Do sibling discounts stack with other discounts? This depends on the facility's configuration. Contact your facility admin for details on how multiple discounts interact.
