Subscription Management
Every facility on SlotBase operates under a subscription plan that defines its features and usage limits. As a platform admin, you can view, modify, and manage subscriptions for all facilities from the admin dashboard.
Subscription Plans
SlotBase offers four subscription tiers:
| Plan | Target | Description |
|---|---|---|
| STARTER | Small facilities | Basic features with limited resources and players |
| GROWTH | Growing facilities | Expanded limits and additional features |
| PRO | Established facilities | High limits with advanced features |
| ENTERPRISE | Large organizations | Custom limits and premium support |
Each plan defines specific limits on resources, players, and admins. See the Plan Limits section below for details.
Subscription Statuses
A facility's subscription can be in one of the following states:
| Status | Description | Facility Access |
|---|---|---|
| TRIALING | The facility is in a free trial period | Full access |
| ACTIVE | The subscription is current and paid | Full access |
| PAST_DUE | Payment has failed; grace period in effect | Limited access (grace period) |
| PAUSED | The facility has voluntarily paused their subscription | Read-only access |
| CANCELLED | The subscription has been cancelled | No access after end date |
| SUSPENDED | A platform admin has suspended the facility | No access |
Viewing Subscription Details
- Navigate to Facilities in the admin dashboard.
- Click on the facility whose subscription you want to view.
- Go to the Subscription tab or section.
You will see:
- Current plan name and tier
- Subscription status
- Billing cycle and next payment date
- Usage against plan limits (resources, players, admins)
- Payment history
Changing a Facility's Plan
To upgrade or downgrade a facility's subscription:
- Open the facility's detail page.
- Navigate to the Subscription section.
- Click Change Plan.
- Select the new plan from the available options.
- Review the changes (new limits, pricing adjustments).
- Click Confirm.
Plan changes take effect immediately. If upgrading, the facility gains access to higher limits right away. If downgrading, the facility retains access until the current billing period ends.
Plan Limits Reference
| Limit | STARTER | GROWTH | PRO | ENTERPRISE |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Max Resources | Limited | Moderate | High | Custom |
| Max Players | Limited | Moderate | High | Custom |
| Max Admins | Limited | Moderate | High | Custom |
If a facility is approaching their plan limits, reach out to the owner to discuss an upgrade before they hit the cap.
Handling Past Due Subscriptions
When a facility's payment fails, the subscription enters PAST_DUE status:
- The facility owner is notified by email about the failed payment.
- A grace period begins during which the facility can still operate.
- If payment is not resolved within the grace period, the subscription may be suspended.
As a platform admin, you can:
- View past due facilities in the Subscriptions section
- Contact the facility owner to resolve payment issues
- Manually extend the grace period if needed
- Suspend the facility if payment remains unresolved
Paused Subscriptions
A facility owner can voluntarily pause their subscription (e.g., during off-season). While paused:
- The facility has read-only access (no new bookings)
- Existing data is preserved
- The owner can resume at any time
If a paused subscription is not resumed within the configured time limit, it may be automatically cancelled.
