Create Facility
Creating a facility is the first step in setting up your SlotBase account. This guide walks you through every field you need to fill in to get your facility profile ready.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following information on hand:
- Your facility's full name and street address
- The timezone your facility operates in
- Contact details (email, phone, website)
- The sport types you support
- A logo image and optional cover photo
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to SlotBase and navigate to your Admin Dashboard.
- Click Create Facility (or Add Facility if you already manage one).
- Fill in the Basic Information fields:
- Facility Name -- The public-facing name players will see (e.g., "Greenfield Sports Center").
- Slug -- A URL-friendly identifier auto-generated from your name. You can customize it.
- Description -- A short paragraph describing your facility, the sports you offer, and any standout features.
- Enter your Address:
- Street -- The street address of your facility.
- City -- The city where your facility is located.
- State -- The state or province.
- ZIP / Postal Code -- Your postal code.
- Country -- Select your country from the dropdown.
- Select your Timezone from the dropdown. This controls how all booking times are displayed to players and admins.
- Add your Contact Information:
- Email -- The primary email address for facility inquiries.
- Phone -- A contact phone number.
- Website -- Your facility's website URL (optional).
- Select one or more Sport Types that your facility supports (e.g., Tennis, Pickleball, Basketball, Cricket, Swimming).
- Upload your Logo -- This appears on your facility page and in search results.
- Upload a Cover Image (optional) -- A wide banner image shown at the top of your facility page.
- Click Save to create your facility.

Your facility is created in Draft status. It will not be visible to players until you complete setup and publish it.

Editing Your Facility Profile Later
You can update any of these fields at any time:
- Go to Facility Settings in the admin sidebar.
- Select General or Profile.
- Make your changes and click Save.

Updating your facility name or slug after publishing will immediately change how your facility appears to players. Double-check before saving.
What to Do Next
After creating your facility, continue the setup process:
- Add resources (courts, fields, lanes)
- Set operating hours
- Configure holidays (optional)
