Facility Setup Overview

Setting up your facility on SlotBase is a guided process that takes you from an empty profile to a fully operational booking platform. This page walks you through the high-level steps and links to detailed guides for each one.


The Setup Process

Every new facility follows the same five-step path:

  1. Create your facility -- Enter your name, address, timezone, contact details, and sport types.
  2. Add resources -- Define the bookable spaces (courts, fields, lanes, cages) that players can reserve.
  3. Set operating hours -- Configure your open and close times for each day of the week.
  4. Configure settings -- Fine-tune booking approval, member policies, payment rules, and pricing.
  5. Publish -- Go live so players can discover your facility and start booking.

Your facility begins in Draft status. It will not be visible to players until you publish it.

Facility Status Lifecycle

Your facility moves through a series of statuses as you set it up and operate:

DraftInitial state during setup. Not visible to players.
ActivePublished and accepting bookings.
InactiveTemporarily taken offline by the facility admin.
SuspendedDisabled by platform administration (e.g., billing issues).

You can return a facility from Inactive back to Active at any time from the facility settings page.


Where to Find Settings

Once your facility is created, all configuration options are available under Facility Settings in the admin sidebar. Each section is covered in its own guide -- use the links below to jump directly to what you need.


What Happens After You Publish?

When you publish your facility:

  • Your facility page becomes visible to the public.
  • Players can search for and join your facility.
  • Bookings, events, and programs can be created.
  • Coaches can be invited and assigned to resources.
