Set Operating Hours
Operating hours define when your facility is open for bookings. You configure a schedule for each day of the week, and SlotBase uses this to control when players can reserve resources. Bookings cannot be made outside your operating hours.
How Operating Hours Work
- You set a separate open time and close time for each day of the week (Monday through Sunday).
- Any day can be marked as Closed, which blocks all bookings for that day.
- Operating hours apply to all resources at your facility uniformly.
- Times are displayed in the timezone you selected when creating your facility.
Operating hours define the outer boundaries of your schedule. Individual resources, coaching blocks, and events may have narrower availability within these hours.
Configuring Your Schedule
- Go to Facility Settings in the admin sidebar.
- Select Operating Hours.
- For each day of the week (Monday through Sunday), set the following:
- Open Time -- The time your facility opens (e.g., 6:00 AM).
- Close Time -- The time your facility closes (e.g., 10:00 PM).
- Closed -- Toggle this on to mark the day as fully closed.
- Click Save.

Day-of-Week Reference
SlotBase uses a numeric system internally for days of the week:

You do not need to use these numbers directly -- the settings page shows day names -- but they may appear in reports or exports.
Common Questions
Can I set different hours for different resources?
No. Operating hours apply at the facility level and affect all resources equally. If you need a resource to have narrower availability, you can manage that through coaching blocks or by creating bookings that block off specific time slots.
What happens if I change operating hours after bookings exist?
Existing bookings are not automatically cancelled when you shorten your hours. You will need to review and manually cancel any bookings that now fall outside the updated schedule.
Always check for existing bookings before reducing your operating hours. Shortening hours does not cancel or move bookings that were already confirmed.
Can I set hours that cross midnight?
No. The close time must be later than the open time on the same calendar day. If your facility operates past midnight, set the close time to 11:59 PM and open the next day at 12:00 AM.
