Booking for Children
As a parent or guardian, you can book sessions, register for events, and enroll in programs on behalf of your linked children. The process is nearly identical to booking for yourself, with the added step of selecting which family member the booking is for.
Booking a Session for Your Child
- Navigate to the Book page at your facility.
- Select the date, time, and resource you want.
- When prompted for who the booking is for, select your child's name from the Booking For dropdown.
- Confirm the booking details.
- Complete payment if required.
- The booking is created under your child's name.
If you have multiple children, the dropdown shows all linked children. Make sure you select the correct one before confirming.
Registering for Events
- Browse the Events page at your facility.
- Find the event you want to register your child for.
- Click Register.
- Select your child's name from the participant list.
- Complete any required forms or waivers.
- Confirm the registration.
If the event is full, you can join the waitlist on behalf of your child. See Event Waitlist for details.
Enrolling in Programs
- Navigate to Programs at your facility.
- Select the program you want.
- Click Enroll.
- Choose your child's name as the participant.
- Review the schedule and fees.
- Confirm enrollment.
Who Appears in the Booking For Dropdown
The dropdown shows:
- Yourself -- Your own name (for personal bookings)
- Linked children -- All children connected to your parent account
Only children who have been added to your family account appear in the list. If a child is missing, make sure you have added them first.
Payment Responsibility
When you book on behalf of your child, you are the responsible party for payment. This means:
- Payment is charged to your account
- Invoices are issued to you
- Refunds are processed to your payment method
- Sibling discounts apply across all your children's enrollments
Your child does not need their own payment method. All billing flows through the parent account.
Viewing Your Child's Bookings
All bookings made for your children appear in your Parent Dashboard alongside your own bookings. You can filter by family member to see only a specific child's schedule.
To view your child's bookings:
- Go to My Bookings or the Parent Dashboard.
- Use the Family Member filter to select your child.
- View their upcoming and past bookings.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule your child's bookings the same way you would your own:
- Open the booking from your dashboard or booking list.
- Click Cancel or Reschedule.
- Follow the prompts to complete the change.
Cancellation policies apply equally to bookings made on behalf of children.
If the facility has a cancellation deadline (e.g., 24 hours before the session), this applies regardless of whether the booking was made for you or your child.
