Profile & Settings

Your coach profile is what players and facility admins see when evaluating your coaching services. A complete, well-maintained profile builds trust and helps players find the right coach for their needs. This page covers every part of your profile and how to set it up.

Accessing Your Profile​

  1. Go to your Coach Dashboard.
  2. Click Profile or Settings in the sidebar navigation.
  3. Your profile editor opens, where you can update all fields.

Profile Fields​

Bio​

Your bio is a free-text description that introduces you to players. Write about your coaching philosophy, teaching style, and what makes your sessions unique.

Keep your bio concise but informative. Mention the sports you teach, your approach to working with different age groups, and any notable achievements.

Specializations (Sport Types)​

Select the sports you are qualified to teach. You can choose from all sports available on the platform:

Your specializations determine which sports you can select when creating coaching blocks.

Certifications​

Add your professional certifications to establish credibility. Each certification entry includes:

  • Certification name -- The title or level of the certification (e.g., "USPTA Professional", "Level 3 Cricket Coach").
  • Issuing organization -- The body that granted the certification.
  • Date earned -- When you received the certification.
  • Expiration date -- When the certification expires (if applicable).

Certifications are stored as structured data, so players can filter coaches by certification type. Keep this section up to date as you earn new credentials.

Experience​

Set your years of experience to give players a sense of your coaching background. This is a numeric field representing the total number of years you have been coaching.

Default Hourly Rate​

Your default hourly rate is the baseline price for your coaching services. When you affiliate with a facility, this rate can be adjusted on a per-facility basis.

The rate you set on your profile is a default. Each facility affiliation can override this with a specific hourly rate agreed upon with the facility admin.

Coach Level​

Your coach level reflects your standing on the platform. Levels are assigned based on your qualifications, experience, and track record:

Facility Affiliation Settings​

When you affiliate with a facility, your profile is extended with facility-specific settings. These are configured per facility and may differ from your default profile:

Facility-specific settings are managed in collaboration with the facility admin. If you want to change your lesson types or rate at a specific facility, contact the admin to update your affiliation.

Updating Your Profile​

To update any profile field:

  1. Navigate to Profile on your Coach Dashboard.
  2. Edit the desired field (bio, certifications, experience, rate, etc.).
  3. Click Save Changes.
  4. Your updated profile is immediately visible to players and admins.

Profile Visibility​

Your profile is visible to:

  • Players browsing coaching options at facilities where you have an active affiliation.
  • Facility admins reviewing your affiliation request or managing their coaching roster.
  • Other coaches are not able to see your profile details such as rates or certifications.

Complete profiles get more bookings. Players are more likely to book a coach who has a detailed bio, listed certifications, and a clear set of specializations.
