Player Statuses
Every player at your facility has a status that indicates their current standing. Understanding these statuses helps you manage your roster effectively and know which players can actively use your facility.
Status Reference
| Status | Description | Can Book? |
|---|---|---|
| Active | The player is a fully approved member of your facility | Yes |
| Pending | The player has submitted a join request that has not yet been reviewed | No |
| Invited | An invitation has been sent but not yet accepted | No |
| Minor | The player is under 18 and is linked to a parent or guardian account | Yes (via parent) |
| Inactive | The player's membership has been deactivated by an admin | No |
Active
An Active player is a fully approved member of your facility. They can:
- Book sessions on available resources
- Register for events
- Enroll in programs
- View their bookings and payment history
Players reach Active status through any of these paths:
- Accepting an invitation
- Having their join request approved
- Being manually added by an admin
Pending
A Pending player has submitted a join request that is waiting for admin review. They cannot book sessions or access facility features until approved.
You can view all pending players in the Join Requests tab of your Players page. Review these regularly to avoid keeping players waiting.
Invited
An Invited player has received an email invitation but has not yet accepted it. The invitation may still be active or may have expired.
- If the invitation is still valid, the player can accept at any time.
- If it has expired, you can send a new invitation.
- If you revoked the invitation, the player will need a fresh invite.
Minor
A Minor player is under 18 years of age and is linked to a parent or guardian account. Minor players have some restrictions:
- Bookings are typically made by their parent or guardian
- Their account activity is visible to the linked parent
- Depending on facility policy, minors aged 13 and above may have limited self-service capabilities
When a minor turns 18, their account transitions to an independent account. See When Minor Turns 18 for details.
Inactive
An Inactive player has had their membership deactivated by a facility admin. This status is used when:
- A player is no longer participating at your facility
- A player needs to be temporarily suspended
- An admin wants to remove booking access without deleting the player's history
Deactivating a player preserves their booking and payment history. You can reactivate them at any time to restore full access.
Viewing Player Status
- Navigate to Players in your facility admin dashboard.
- The player list shows each player's current status.
- Use the status filter to show only players with a specific status (e.g., show only Pending players).
